MUSTARD GREENS

Mustard greens … and Turnip greens, Collard greens, or any combination of the three have always been a staple on our dinner table.  Not only are they delectable, they are loaded with benefits.

Leafy greens are full of vitamins and minerals like Vitamin A, Vitamin C and Calcium.  Did you know that  these fiber-rich greens can even help with weight loss?  Sans seasoning them with a Ham Hock, of course. For a healthier alternative, try a smoked turkey leg or thigh in your next pot of greens.  The greens will still have the delicious, smoky flavor, but without all the fat.  Now, that’s good news!
